The field of graphic design relies on people skilled in both art and technology. My goal is to design interactive multimedia, preferably targeted for educational purposes. I believe that the ability to learn interactively (organized information, images, animation, audio, and programming) helps people fully understand the material being presented. Interactivity gives a person the ability to control their learning experience, allowing them to choose if and when to visualize, communicate, listen, or participate with that material.

I apologize for the general duo-tone nature of my site. I am working on learning more on how to use color. But in any case, the trend generally leads to a certain simplicity, which I find is the way to go for web design.

I went pretty simple on the designs of the pages. There are mostly lines and text. Not to mention that I design much of my web pages while off-line using text editors like Cute HTML, Notepad, or HomeSite.

You might have noticed a certain consistency in the design of my site - it is intentional.

So it's a mutual agreement that content is stripped on the internet. I learned this first hand while working as a web marketing designer. Sometimes half of the client's content was removed due to customers' "low tolerance" on lengthy e-mail campaigns. Speed (ie: lack of bandwidth) is the main factor in this on-going cyclical conundrum. However, as modernization grows, so too will access and speed.

I am a very self-motivated person and love the everyday workflow of web design. On the side, I work as a freelancer and you can't just lounge on the sofa expecting the phone to ring without working long hours. I love the challenges of working with people on exciting projects and seeing them come to life.
